Pumkin Time!!!

Hope all is well with everyone. Short on time today, I just wanted to post the pictures of us carving pumpkins, and a few from the Ghost Tour we took in Ogden a few weeks ago. Enjoy!

Busy, busy, busy...

Hello all. I hope you are all doing well, and that you are enjoying these last weeks of summer. We have all been busy here. David just woked thirteen days in a row, but he's still enjoying his job so it's good ;o) Bryar is getting more independent every day. She loves the movie "Finding Nemo", and I think she watches it at least twice a day. She and I have been enjoying our bike rides, we've been trying to get in a lot more before the weather turns too cold. Bryar really likes to help out in our little "garden" by watering the plants and digging in the dirt. She is always learning new words, I personally find it hilarious when she tries to say "SpongeBob". She's been so much fun lately...
I have started a new job at the Riverdale Wal-Mart as a cashier. I miss my old job at Tony Divino, but this one seems to be working out really well. I just finished my History class, and think I am still doing pretty well in school. I know that I enjoy it, anyways.
Outside of our jobs we have just been trying to enjoy what time we can find together. David and I like to take Bryar over to the elemantry school and let her play on the playground, and she's such a little DAREDEVIL! Hhmmm, I wonder where she gets that (Daddy?). We're also having fun making our new place as homey as possible, David is so handy that he can just about fix or build anything. We painted all the doors downstairs, and we're looking to make screens for some of our windows. Work in progress...

She got her own Jamba Juice...

This was Bryar's 6-month birthday last November. We went to Baskin-Robbins ;o)

These pictures were taken last year, but they are all so cute I had to share them!

Moving In...

Hi all! Well, we are all moved out of our apartment, and almost settled in our new place. It is much more "homey" feeling, as Ya-Ya (Monica) pointed out. I will have to take pictures once we get everything put together...
Anywhoo... Bryar is teething, poor thing. She's still a happy baby for the most part though. On Saturday we got to go to the Roy waterpark, which was a lot of fun. On Friday I had my first CNA externship, which was an experience. However, I got through it just fine and will be going back for another 8 hours on Friday the 7th.
David is settled into his new homecare job, and he is enjoying it a lot better. Although... All of his patients are hospice, so it's a little sad. For example, two of his patients passed away over the weekend... He handles it well, I think I would be a mess. ~Sigh~

Reading...

~I think I am going to start reading "The Man in the Iron Mask" by Alexandre Dumas. I love "The Counte of Monte Cristo", so it should be good! I also am starting on a cross-stitch quilt block for a little boy who had a drowning accident last year. They are looking for more people to stitch, so if you're interested let me know! They are only 9x9 size designs and they don't have to be done until October 15th. Thanks!~

Updates!!!

Well, there is just so much to tell I don't know where to begin!
We'll start with David's good news... He got a new job!! He will be doing in-home care for elderly/disabled/rehab patients. He has already started training and is very excited. He says it is so nice to be able to spend more time with the patients and give them more personalized care. He also gets a MUCH deserved raise! He starts full-time this coming Tuesday.
As for my good news... I made it to the Dean's List! I am still enjoying school and I will be finishing my CNA courses this next month (hopefully).
Bryar is doing great. She is my little sunshine. She's so funny now that she walks, she's just EVERYWHERE and she dances to any music, even if it's just a ringtone on my phone. As you can see from the latest pictures, she is in LOVE with the camera. She has been sick the last few days; she was throwing up yesterday. But I think it must have just been the 24-hour thing because she was acting much better when I put her to bed tonight.
As of August 1st we will be living in Roy in a townhouse/apartment thing. David calls it a 4-plex. Anyways, it is very nice as the coutertops and all the cabinetry have been replaced. They also put new floors in the bathroom and kitchen. It is closer to the area we like to be in, and the rent is actually lower, so we are very excited.
Well, I should probably shove off to bed now, I have work in the morning. Love, Halz

Hello all! I am in the process of setting up this new blog because the site we were on before is closing. Please be patient as I try to figure this new site out. I hope to have pictures and updates on soon! Love, Halz
